Description
If you are looking for an ultra-sturdy portable goal at a competitive price, the Thunder system is a great choice. The Thunder works great in school gymnasiums, recreational facilities, or any other multipurpose complex.
The Thunder hand-crank allows the goal to be easily adjusted from 10′ down to 6’6″. The distance from the backboard to the base of the unit is 48″ when the rim height is 10′. The distance decreases slightly as the rim is lowered.
To move the Thunder, simply release the brake and move the goal to the desired location. The Thunder has six roller wheels and one person can smoothly move the goal to a new position or to the side for storage. The extension arm of the unit quickly cranks down and the backboard tips forward so that the goal can pass through any standard double doors.
Your Thunder base padding comes in a variety of colors and free padding customization is also available.
The Thunder comes in five backboard configurations with both clear acrylic and tempered glass options. Full-size (42″x72″) backboards are available as well as smaller 36″x60″ and 36″x54″ models.
The ballast for the Thunder is provided by 23 4″x8″x16″ cement blocks. Simply remove the ballast cover and place the blocks inside and the Thunder will be rock solid.
All Thunder units come with the First Team Lifetime Superior Warranty.
