Tempest Portable Basketball Goal

The Tempest is a competition level goal suitable for game play in schools, gymnasiums, field houses and other recreational facilities. The Tempest contains all of the features of college and high school level goals in a slightly scaled down version.

The Tempest is also height adjustable so it works for all ages of game play. The Tempest has a spring-aided design adjustment function that allows the goal to be easily adjusted every 6″ from 10′ down to 6′. The distance from the backboard to the base of the unit is 66″.

One person can easily move the Tempest. Simply fold the backboard into its compact storage position, release the brake and move the goal to the desired location. The Tempest is compact and can pass through any standard double doors for storage if necessary.

Base padding is available in an array of colors and free padding customization is also available. Backboard padding is also included.

All Tempest units come with full-size 42″x72″ tempered glass backboards and full-tilt 180° breakaway rims.

The ballast for the Tempest is provided by 24 4″x8″x16″ cement blocks. Simply remove the ballast cover and place the blocks inside and the Tempest can handle any level of play including dunking and hanging on the rim. Floor anchors are also available to secure the goal to the floor if needed.
