The Legend Jr. offers all the sleek features of the super-sturdy Legend system in a slightly smaller scale version. The Legend Jr. features a 5″x5″ post made from 3/16″ thick steel. The distance from the backboard to the post is 52″, providing more than enough space for any level of play.

The Legend Jr. comes in six different backboard and rim options. Backboard choices include tempered glass, clear acrylic, steel, and aluminum. Two Legend Jr. systems are also available in dual systems that use one pole to mount two backboards back to back.

The Legend Jr. features the First Team lifetime superior warranty.

Base Plate

Featuring a 5″x5″, 3/16″ thick steel pole, the Legend Jr. fixed-height basketball system is a strong and sturdy choice for playgrounds of all types. The distance from the backboard to the post on the Legend is 52″.

Two Legend Jr. systems come with a dual option where the post is used to mount two extension arms and backboards back to back. This offers a great way to maximize the space on your playground. The standard Legend Jr. system comes with a direct bury pole but a base plate option is also available if an anchor kit installation is preferred or the goals are going where an anchor kit already exists.

Six backboard options are available with the Legend. Choose between tempered glass (36″x54″ and 36″x60″), clear acrylic (36″x54″ and 36″x60″), steel (36″x60″), and aluminum backboards (36″x60″).

Double-rim fixed goals are standard on all backboard systems using steel and aluminum and flex rims are standard on the glass and clear acrylic systems but either of the two rims can be used on all systems at the customer’s request.
