Description
Whether you need glass, acrylic, steel, or aluminum backboards for either home or institutional use, the Force has you covered. The attractive styling of the Force is also exceptionally rigid and durable. Like all First Team goals, the Force is made in the USA.
The Force has a 3/16″ thick 5″x5″ square post. The adjustment mechanism allows the goal to be cranked down to as low as 5’6″ so even the youngest of players can work on their game. The Force utilizes the “Spring Assist” mechanism, developed by First Team, to aid in raising and lowering the rim height of the goal. When the rim height is at 10′, the distance from the backboard to the post is 48″.
The Force is mounted to the ground using a bolt down anchor system. This system is much easier to install than direct bury poles and, additionally, allows the goal to be relocated if that is ever needed. The Force features the First Team Weatherguard rustproof undercoat protection which galvanizes the steel prior to powder coating.
The Force comes in six different backboard and rim combinations. Backboards are available in tempered glass, clear acrylic, steel, and aluminum in sizes either 36″x54″ or 36″x60″. Pole padding is available for all Force units and backboard padding is an option when glass or acrylic backboards are used.
