Description
For basketball play rivaling the performance in the arena, the Titan is an exceptional choice for either residential or institutional use. The Titan is made in the USA and boasts first-rate construction in every way.
The Titan has a 3/16″ thick 6″x6″ square post. The adjustment mechanism allows the goal to be cranked down to as low as 5’6″ so even the youngest of players can work on their game. The Titan utilizes two “Spring Assist” mechanisms, developed by First Team, to aid in raising and lowering the rim height of the goal. When the rim height is at 10′, the distance from the backboard to the post is 48″.
The Titan is mounted to the ground using a bolt down anchor system. This system is much easier to install than direct bury poles and, additionally, allows the goal to be relocated if that is ever needed. The Titan features the First Team Weatherguard rustproof undercoat protection which galvanizes the steel prior to powder coating.
The Titan comes in six different backboard and rim combinations. Backboards are available in tempered glass, clear acrylic, steel, and aluminum. Pole padding is available for all Titan units and backboard padding is an option when glass or acrylic backboards are used.
All Titan adjustable goals have a Lifetime Superior Warranty.
